Oh my son! Know that the Sea is not always like that; Calm & Easy..

So be prepared during ease for hardships that shall come, And be prepared during calmness for disturbance to come..
It is just phases & fates..
And so is life..

And know that even the finest of ships were never meant to plunge into the deepest abysses of the seas.

If they attempt it, they are restrained; and if they persist, they are broken.

For the seas refuse..

And so do men..

And Know that, The One who created the fingertips and raised the lofty heavens is not rendered incapable by anything in the earth nor in the heavens..

And were the seas themselves turned into ink— even if they were increased sevenfold— they would never suffice to write the words that have already preceded in the knowledge of God.

So be certain of that and be content..

And so are the decrees of fate..

Therefore, take from your life provisions for your death.

And do not be, my son, among those who consent to live on the margins of life—

Not out of incapacity, but out of feigned helplessness;
Not out of ignorance, but out of deliberate neglect.

So hold yourself above every form of cowardice and keep to the path of boldness.
For the sea hates cowards—and cowards hate the sea.

And do not say my provisions are little.. For the rain begins with a trickle.
