Why is this happening to us.!?

A dear friend once said: Why would someone bombard a food market full of women and children? why we are not doing anything about it?

And I thought I had the answer, it just came to my mind in a glance and it was like that: 

answer: " for the exact same reason a pack of wild animals can see some of its members attacking a herd, hunting a gazelle or a weak giraffe or a baby elephant without feeling obliged to help the weak or do anything. It has become obvious how we have lost our humanity yet also replaced it with animality.. 
And I believe the root cause for this; And I can't find a better words to describe it as these words from Allah:

The Romans (30:30) الروم

فَأَقِمْ وَجْهَكَ لِلدِّينِ حَنِيفًۭا ۚ فِطْرَتَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّتِى فَطَرَ ٱلنَّاسَ عَلَيْهَا ۚ لَا تَبْدِيلَ لِخَلْقِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلدِّينُ ٱلْقَيِّمُ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ ٣٠

So be steadfast in faith in all uprightness ˹O Prophet˺—the natural Way of Allah which He has instilled in ˹all˺ people. Let there be no change in this creation of Allah. That is the Straight Way, but most people do not know.
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, The Clear Quran

So direct your face [i.e., self] toward the religion, inclining to truth. [Adhere to] the fiṭrah of Allāh upon which He has created [all] people. No change should there be in the creation of Allāh. That is the correct religion, but most of the people do not know.
— Saheeh International


وَرَدَ فى تفاسير هذه الاية أنَ الفِطرة هى الدين. 
It is mentioned in the exegeses -interpretation - of this verse that fitrah refers to religion.

And since we gave up on that "fitrah" I guess there is no surprise we became more like animals than humans, Unless we were expecting something else like being more like plants or solids! which would be  -politely said- totally uncool I think! so we became more like animals than dignited humans "

An ever inspiring scene..
